@GMACF1 Actually I just noticed something else. If you look at the Notify Me page on the Apple UK website in the iPad section. There is a bit were you can enter your E-Mail address to be notified. But in the description above that bit, it says: “We’ll notify you when it’s available to buy from an Apple Retail Store or pre-order from the Apple Online Store.” – So I presume Apple will allow people to pre-order it of their website.
@drummerkid1993 well i usually have at least 40 tabs at home, and approx 1945356 tabs open when im at work so im not sure if your facts are correct

@supertecnoboff Thank you for that info. I’ve checked Apples US website and it’s not looking like there getting the option to pre order so I can’t see us getting it but you never know, fingers crossed.
Wether you like the iPad2 or not, for first time iPad buyers i think it’s an awesome product to buy.
@GMACF1 I was chatting to one of the Apple online store staff about the matter of pre-orders in the UK. And he said that there could be, but pre-orders arn’t confirmed.

@saab9573 If his friend doesn’t declare the value or contents of the parcel according to UK law, which is illegal, Dave won’t be charged import fees. Of course, there’s always the chance of being caught by a random check. Marking the package as a gift or commercial sample doesn’t do much anymore, the customs have caught on.
Dave: won’t you get hit by Customs on your iPad 2 purchase from the US?
I still cannot talk myself into getting one. As much as I want one, my computer is just better and faster at doing everything. If I could do a 32GB one for $400 Then maybe, but if not…
